Attention Bedbugs!

The only positive aspect of this hostel was its location. However, my experience with the rooms was extremely disappointing. They were poorly cleaned, with visible dirt and dust under the mattress and in the corners. I encountered insects like beetles, or cockroach larvae, or bedbugs crawling around, which was unacceptable. The room without windows are dark and uncomfortable, and the ventilation was inadequate, leaving the air stuffy despite the presence of a fan. Additionally, the air conditioning was only available overnight. Furthermore, the hostel allowed guests with colds and coughs to stay, posing a potential risk of infection, possibly even COVID-19. The practice of brushing teeth behind the reception desk was unhygienic. While the bathroom and toilet were acceptable, I still did not feel comfortable during my stay. The hostel also had inconvenient operating hours, with a long break between 11 AM and 4 PM, during which the door was closed, making check-in difficult for those arriving during this time. Considering the subpar service and conditions, the price was exorbitantly high. Overall, I cannot recommend this hostel and believe it is significantly overpriced for the quality of service provided.

If you are a clean traveler, not come to this place, it’s in the 3er floor, the smell in the stair is bad, the smell in the place is bad, they dont do any maintenance cleaning, in the bed are “ chinchillas” (microscopic bugs) they bite you!! I tell the girl in the front to change the sheets and she didn t do it!! Only the good location can be rescued!

Great location. That’s the only good thing I can say about this hostel. AC is only on from 9pm to 9am and it’s insanely hot and humid all day, I woke up by 9:15 because I was sweating. There are extra fees for checking in after 8PM. I was charged the “late” check in rate but was apparently not charged an extra tax when checking in, so the worker approached me at my bed at 9am the next morning telling me I had to pay. I was incredibly uncomfortable with being approached this way. The wifi doesn’t work in the room, at least it didn’t on my bunk, it was connected with 1-2 bars and nothing was loading. I get that it’s a budget hostel, I’ve stayed at many, but this one was particularly awful. There are other hostels in Singapore at the same price point and without the extra fees, I would try those.

We had a mixed experience here. The location is excellent close to MRT and Clarke Quay. The 4-bunk room was nice, the large locker was appreciated. The cost is low for Singapore. However, the lack of easy reception is very inconvenient for travelers. If you arrive before 4pm there is no reception available at all. The door is locked and you cannot store your luggage. This is different than every other hostel I've stayed in and was not clear during booking. On checkout, luggage storage is very limited to the point of being useless. Also the layout and atmosphere were both lacking. The only bathroom is near the front door and sinks are in easy view of the kitchen and living room and front door which is uncomfortable. There are many rules that stop any social atmosphere from blossoming and there are longer-term guests that impact the "backpacking vibe." It seems the hostel caters more to the long term stay and the backpacker is treated as an afterthought. The staff was kind to us, but blunt and frank about the many rules and the very limited reception hours. I would recommend looking elsewhere for a hostel with more flexible reception and one with a different atmosphere if that's important to you.

ideal budget hotel with the best services . washrooms - kitchen everything maintained properly bed was comfortable. staff is friendly and cooperative. near to three 711 stores and many restaurants as well as clarke MRT.
